The buyers just won’t quit. They’re obviously not reading my posts!
The major indices continued their climb today. Clearly there’s a lot of money being put to work. I assume this is a result of all the mutual fund inflows over the last couple of weeks, combined with a short squeeze. Today the NASDAQ made a new closing high for 2003, on very strong volume. It doesn’t get much more bullish than that! The S&P 500 is quickly approaching its 2003 high, while the Dow is bringing up the rear, still struggling with its ‘war rally’ highs. Still, we’re so far overbought that I couldn’t stand it anymore and shorted some QQQ today, against my better judgment. Ah, the dangers of watching the ticker all day.
