It was an up day today but nothing happened to change my view from yesterday. The NASDAQ S&P managed to close above its 50-day moving average, but I’m not sure it’ll stay there tomorrow. Even before the big blackout, the futures were selling off on Dell’s earnings report. Dell and the NASDAQ futures may have bounced during Dell’s conference call, but by then the blackout was in full effect, so many people likely missed the call. I guess we’ll know tomorrow how Wall Street likes Dell’s numbers.
There will be lots of cross currents tomorrow — options expiration, the Dell aftermath, economic reports, and the aftermath of the blackout. Let the games begin.

happy belated!
