Try Mozilla FireFox 0.9

I know that over 70% of my visitors are still using some version of Internet Explorer. Mozilla has just released version 0.9 of their wonderful FireFox browser. Do yourselves a huge favor and try out FireFox. I’ve written many times about why Mozilla is better than IE:

Or see Mozilla’s own ‘why use Mozilla‘ page. I can’t believe that so many people are still using IE when there are so many better, and free, options available. I know some of you are locked in by your company’s IT department, but at least try it at home. And no, I’m not short Microsoft’s stock.

P.S. Mad Penguin has posted their first look at FireFox 0.9 (via my brother)

P.P.S. Here are 101 things that the Mozilla browser can do that IE can’t.

But I am very used to IE, plus I don’t upgrade software I don’t feel lacking [except the endless stream of security updates]. Software industry is strange. Development for the sake of development occurs more often than not, it isn’t about product improvement or what the customers were dying for, but seemingly retention of a core development team that can work well together to produce product as needed when the next opportunity is spotted. In the meantime rather than cut the core group of influential individuals there is a cycle of allowing the techno-geeks time to add what they like to the product until a business strategy or new opportunity presents itself.
I like your MMA charts I haven’t learned it yet, do you MMA and candlestick for your trading? Do you post some of the plays?

    Jason,

I’m sorry to hear that you don’t want to try FireFox. You really don’t know wht you’re missing. I was also VERY used to IE, but after using Mozilla for less than an hour I was hooked and switched Mozilla to my default browser.

So you don’t think IE is lacking? The scurity holes is a HUGE failing. It lacks tabbed browsing, proper handling of CSS, and built-in pop-up blocking. Not to mention the other 98 things it can’t do that Mozilla can.

Yes, I combine MMAs, candlesticks, stochastic and Bollinger Bands in my trading. I used to post what was on my watchlist each day but nobody seemed to care. So I stopped.
