Before there were blogs there were anonymous chat rooms. Now anyone who wants to be heard can just as easily create a Web log. But writing a useful investment blog isn’t so easy. First, you have to have good investment ideas. Second, it helps if your ideas are embedded in insightful commentary and third, it is probably best if you post your ideas quickly. Investors will forgive lousy navigation, advertising clutter, bad grammar and really any other Web site foul. In the end the most important thing is to make investors money. Below you will find some of the more interesting investment oriented blogs in cyberspace. We can’t guarantee their results but we can testify that they are good at distilling the barrage of daily financial information and occasionally will make you chuckle. –Matt Rand
Update: OK, now that I’ve had a chance to poke around at Forbes I should add that the investment blog page is part of their Winter 2004 Best of the Web directory. There’s a wealth of information about all sorts of financial, and even non-financial, sites up there. And congrats to Random Roger for being named the Forbes Favorite Investment Blog!

Congrats again!
That’s awesome, Mike! Great job!!
Congrats again Mike. Of course you deserve it because you do have a great blog.
Paul
Thanks gentlemen.
Congrats Mike. That list had some really good blogs that I will difinitely spend some time reading (after finals are over). Well, I’m sure it’s satisfying to be recognized by such a successful finance magazine.
Investment blogs are great, it’s fun to see everyone elses ideas and exchange thoughts. I enjoy blogging about ETF’s. I was a broker for 8 years and blogging is a great way to keep the skills sharp.
Mike, Congrats on all of your success. Do you know much about forex trading? I’m looking for some really strong forex blogs to read.
Thanks Fortex,
I know nothing about Forex but Bo Yoder’s been writing a bit about it.
