I hope you all have a safe and happy new year. I’m going to try to finish reading ‘How to Make Money Selling Stocks Short‘ before I head out to celebrate the new year tonight. So look for the review over the weekend. I may also post some resolutions. I’ve never really been one to make (New Years) resolutions but since Michael Taylor has been sweating me about it maybe I’ll cave this year. I do have some trading and blogging goals in mind so that may be a good excuse to write them down.

I have to give a special thank you to Adam Schierholz for his very generous donation to me today. As Dave Chappelle would say “I’m rich bi#@$”! Adam made some good coin on a couple of stocks that were in my watchlists recently. I’ve been wondering if anybody actually trades those stocks. The sad thing is that I never even traded those two stocks. Go figure! Adam is the co-author of what appears to be a very entertaining book about his college experiences, ‘What They Don’t Teach You at Yale’. You can read a section of the book on his site (PDF). I may have to write something similar about my days at $tanfurd (that’s the Berkeley spelling of Stanford).

Now to figure out how to spend that donation money. I’m picturing a bottle of Hpnotiq for starters. :-)

See you all on the other side of midnight.
