The Return of the Watchlists

Tomorrow I’ll start posting my watchlists again. There will be a couple of changes though. Although I’m no longer swing trading I’ll still post some of the more interesting set-ups that pop up in my scans. Look for the swing list and the gappers to be posted shortly after 9 AM. The major difference will be that I’ll update the list of potential day trades during the trading session. I doubt that there will be much detail on the intraday updates as I try to stay focused on catching the entries and managing my open positions. It’ll probably just be notes like “XYZ is getting crushed, I’m looking for a spot to get short.”

That’s great! I’ve missed the watchlists.

Are you using some kind of eSignal scan to find your intraday setups?

    How’d your “demo” period go?

    Chud,

The demo mode trading has gone well. Hopefully that wasn’t just because the market has been going straight up! :-) Now that I have the lower commissions the fun really begins as I go back to live trading today.

glad to see the watch list’s back, possibably, on some of them you can do a chart and show us what you are looking at to enter or exit.

Chud, the real-time scanner that I’m using for the day trades is part of CyberTrader’s trading plaform. They call it CyberQuant.

Scanning. I use trade-ideas for new highs. When I try to use the other services, I overwhelm myself. you mentioned “scans”. Any tips you picked up, or anybody?

    Gary,

I’m not sure that I understand your question.
