A Look at the Major Indices

Here’s a look at some of the major indices. Below are charts of the Nasdaq composite, the Nasdaq 100 (NDX/QQQQ), S&P 500 and the Dow (which looks like death). This should be an interesting week with it being month and quarter end. We also have a Fed decision on the last day of the month. And then Friday is the day before a long weekend. Since I never trade on Fed days and I imagine Friday will be real quiet I may start my weekend at the closing bell on Wednesday.

    ya know, the crappy thing about the Naz, NDX, & djia, is that the 50-day is still beneath the 200, so if things pick up on the downside this summer, it’ll be like a race against the sun to see which can get lower faster: price-vs.-50day. Here’s hoping Greenspan takes his foot off the brakes this week.

    Good point. I meant to point that out. Maybe those death crosses will prove to be bearish after all. :-o
