Watchlist for September 14, 2005

Keep in mind that this is an options expiration week and I think the games have already begun. Expect to see stocks getting pinned to strike prices as we get closer to Friday. And speaking of Friday, I’ll be taking the day off, as I usually do on expiration days, so there won’t be a watchlist in the morning.

In the survey a few people said they they wanted to see my watchlist and not the list of gappers from Briefing.com. There are a few reasons why I post those lists here every day. Namely:

  • The stocks on those lists usually are the majority of stocks that I’m watching.
  • It’s much easier for me to refer back to those lists here as opposed to trying to track them down on Briefing’s always changing page.
  • I think those lists are extremely useful

Last night I addressed what I’l be doing with the swing trade ideas. For day trades, the rest of my watchlist is created dynamically during the day based on what my scanners spit out. There’s no way I can trade effectively and post everything I’m watching to this site. I’ll try to post as much as I can in the intraday update section below.

Oh yeah, that reminds me, my hosting firm is still having issues post-blackout and my server is sucking wind again today. So I may not be able to post much intraday b/c it just takes to long.

Potential swing trades:

Longs – None

Shorts – None
