Can’t Win with Google

People are really a trip. First, when I announced that I was going to buy Google a few months ago there were people calling me an idiot in message boards. (I wish I still had the link to that thread.) If being an idiot means a 40% gain in under 3 months then I guess I (happily) qualify! :-)

Today I announced that I sold half of my position in GOOG and somebody leaves a comment basically accusing me of being a bear on it. Somehow he got the idea that I think GOOG can’t/won’t crack $400. I don’t know where I said that but elieve me if I thought that was the case I would have sold all of my shares.

Critics to the left, critics to the right — gotta love the internet…

Mike, I think you’ve tapped into a rich vein of mkt sentiment. Harvest it man! Harvest it! Don’t be ungrateful – switch your frame of reference and gain from it.

    ;o)

So is it time to switch over to Yahoo? I have taken the same 40% ride and am looking for the next stock in this segment to ride? Any thoughts?

That’s a good question, I wish I could answer it. I’d have a tough time intiiating a position in GOOG or YHOO right here.
