I think I broke the Chairman‘s record for quickest loss ever today. I was in GOOG for all of 6 minutes and 2 seconds.
Anyway, it was another choppy but ultimately down day. I’m growing increasingly disinterested as the choppy days continue. Perhaps once the indices reach oversold levels we can get some decent action. I was expecting some serious selling once those trendlines broke yesterday but obviously that’s not the case. It’ll be interesting to see what Intel’s news does to the Nasdaq tomorrow though. Note that it slipped back below its 200-day moving average in the after hours session.

New to this blog. Great stuff!
Thanks for your sharing.
Tried to ask a question about the current broker/trading software you are using in “About me” blog, but could not find how to post it there. So I am asking here…
Are you still using TC2000 + Cyber Trader X2 ?
How do you feel about TradeStation for intraday plays? Thanks!
I am trying to get a new account in additional to my Ameritrade and IB for better real-time scanning
and alerting. Seems like Cyber Trader and Tradestation are good choices.
Mikeli,
Yes, I still use TC2000 (Now called TeleChart 2005) although only for scanning for swing trade setups. I am still trading through CyberTrader but now I’m using CyberTrader Pro. I use CT’s ‘CyberQuant’ and Trade-Ideas to do real time scanning.
I can’t speak (write) about TradeStation b/c I’ve never used it.
Mike,
I have played GOOG a couple of times, both short and long and each time I would have had a nice profit had a done the opposite of what I traded. Tough one to nail. I’m sitting on a short at $403, but figure percentage wise, I have a bit of room. Great Blog, I read it daily.
