Watchlist for January 10, 2006

Given the pre-market weakness it looks like the Dow is going to have a very short stay above 11,000. I’m always concerned when stocks rally into earnings season and we’re beginning to see some earnings reports come out. It should be a very interesting few weeks as the flood of reports begins.

I usually don’t follow the Dow but given all the hype and excitement over it reaching the 11,000 level I’m going to be paying more attention to it. I think that if it starts to roll over it very well may take the heart out of the bulls.
