Once again I’ve had to turn off comments on my site. The ****ing spammers have been slamming my site and although none of the spam has been making it through the filters it’s been creating a serious load on my web server. So to prevent my host from shutting the site down I’ve killed the comments. Maybe I’ll turn them back on if Movable Type (the software that I use to run this blog) can ever come up with a (simple) solution to this ridiculous problem.
On the bright side, the discussion forums are still working.
