Watchlist for July 25, 2006

Dr. Brett has some interesting observations about the high TICKS reading yesterday. As you know, I watch TICK pretty closely during the day to help me figure out the ‘tone’ of the market. Early on yesterday I noticed that TICK was very strong (hard not to notice with all those alerts going off) and spent very little time below zero. Here’s the chart, note how many times it rose over 1,000.-:

That’s not a market you want to try to fade.

Anyway, the open looks to be pretty flat. I’m focusing on some of these big earnings movers that you see below as well as oil. (hmm, maybe NTRI was a short after all :-? )

Potential swing trades:

See one of the recent ‘Chart Reading‘ posts for some potential swing candidates.

Just get trade station, its the best. And get ninja trader to execute all your orders. Plain and simple. And a Bloomberg terminal is also helpful and fun.
