ACOR +161% (announces positive results of Phase 3 Study of Fampridine-SR on walking in people with multiple sclerosis), WARR +72.% (being acquired by Superior Energy Services), SPPI +42% (announces positive results of satraplatin phase 3 trial in patients with hormone-refractory prostate cancer), GPCB +35% & PHRM +13.8% (companies announce positive top-line results for the SPARC trial), UAUA +4% (Crain’s is reporting that UAUA has hired Goldman Sachs to explore strategic options, including possible mergers w/ other carriers), BIDU +3.5% (upgraded to Hold from Sell at Citigroup).
