Feb. 1, 2007 Stock Market Recap

We got some good follow-through on yesterday’s rally in the S&P 500, Dow and Russell 2000. But the Nasdaq and especially the Nasdaq-100 ($NDX, QQQQ) had a a much tougher time. I guess that’s not surprising given the kind of days that Google & Dell had. (Charts of both of those stocks are below.)

Watchlist for February 1, 2007

We’re set for a decent sized gap up this morning. SPY is up 0.32% and QQQQ is up 0.45%. Assuming the strength holds past the first hour I’ll be watching stocks which have pulled back the last several days to see if they can bounce. Some that I’m watching are AEOS, MER, ISIL, AAPL, YHOO [...]
